LOCAL VALLEYS GIRL RELEASES FIRST TIME FICTION

Local valleys girl Lynsey Richards will be releasing her first book ‘Hell Hath No Fury’ in August after several years writing part time.

Lynsey, 28, from Tonyrefail, felt that it was a now or never situation when she moved to Pontypridd with her husband.

“This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m not getting any younger so I’m just going for it!”. Her book is a collection of nine short stories, each based on the well-known saying ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’.

Lynsey, who confesses to having been scorned on more on one occasion, really wanted to put her real life experiences into her work, which resulted in three or four of the stories being loosely based on her past.

“Writers always say, write about what you know… so it was an easy choice to put in some previous aspects of my life. I’ve just made them more entertaining for the reader.”

Richards will not share with us which stories are based on truth, but she says, those who know her best will know which ones they are.

Lynsey will be releasing her book on Saturday 3rd August. It will be available to buy as an E-book and paperback.
